🇫🇷 French Tech Funding Wire August 17: Chargepoly €23M led 10 deals for €61M

Between July 28 and August 14, French Tech startups raising money also included Eurodia, Neverhack, SkinBit, AMDB Security Pro, STRACKER, Hekat Fluidics, Apolownia, Shiplog, Krème, and Reboat.

The company operates hundreds of DC fast-charging points across France, the UK and Canada and says its infrastructure is already helping decarbonize more than one million kilometers of freight transport every month. Chargepoly has deployed solutions for customers including Groupe Rave, Nationex and CMA-CGM and works with OEMs such as Renault Trucks, Volvo Trucks and Daimler Truck. Its modular architecture and Lucie software dynamically allocate power across multiple charging points to reduce deployment costs and improve infrastructure efficiency. When a potential concern is identified, patients are referred to dermatologists who receive a richer, data-backed history of the patient’s skin. SkinBit plans to open its first clinics in selected locations in 2026 and says more than 5,000 people are already on its waitlist. Founded in 2017, the company coordinates urgent and sensitive shipments for customers in the aerospace, luxury, and medtech sectors, including fashion houses such as Balenciaga, Schiaparelli, and Jean Paul Gaultier. The funding will support further development of Stracker360 and its AI capabilities, team expansion, and a build-up strategy to create a global network of specialist critical-freight operators across Europe and the United States. STRACKER currently employs around 25 people and is recruiting across Paris, Roissy, Bordeaux and Ho Chi Minh City. Hekat plans to use the funding to industrialize and automate its technology, then enter the biopharmaceutical market from 2028 and the diagnostics market from 2030. Its longer-term ambition is to secure CE marking for medical devices and FDA approval while industrializing its proprietary microfluidic chip. Founded in 2024, the company fully refurbishes and personalizes used vessels, providing a two-year warranty and aiming to deliver reliability and comfort comparable to new boats while extending vessel lifespans. The financing will support the expansion and optimization of its 1,000-square-meter Lorient workshop, the opening of a new Mediterranean site, recruitment across technical, quality, and sales functions, and further process standardization. Reboat aims to deliver 30 boats in 2027 and scale to around 100 annually by 2031 through direct operations and local partnerships.
